Oberdan Bezzi Husqvarna Streetbike
Keen motorcycle enthusiasts might remember that Swedish bike maker Husqvarna, now a subsidiary of BMW, had recently shown off a few pictures of its new 900cc motor. Based on Bee Em’s 800cc parallel twin, the mill is planned to be dropped into the firm’s first ‘proper’ street bike that will be revealed sometime in November.
If, like us, you can’t wait long months to catch a glimpse of the new Husky, then Italian designer Oberdan Bezzi’s superlative rendering ought to give you an idea of how the bike might look like. Called the 900 Street One, the street-naked employs design language sprouting from Bezzi’s expectation that it will be more powerful than its Teutonic counterpart. What can we say? It looks absolutely fab, and we sure wish the final production version at least bears a passing resemblance
