John Hopkins will not attend the Donington Park round of World Superbike racing championships, as it was previously expected. Instead, John and his teammate Jon Kirkham (both Americans) will enter WSBK at Silverstone later this year. As a reminder, Jon Kirkham is a reigning BST Champion. With their new sponsorship from Samsung, team Crescend Suzuki had decide to wait to join this prestigious championship, and concentrate on testing (March 8th at Guadix, Spain).
BSB opener will be held at Brands Hatch on April 25th. With a very tough times for racing and sponsoring, team manager Jack Valentine said: “In such a tough climate it is extremely pleasing to work with a new partner from outside of the bike industry and with Jon we have a second rider with real pedigree,”.
